Ryoko, an Oni who wreaked havoc on Earth 700 years ago, is a creation of Washu, and is powered by gems from unknown regions of the universe. She also became introduced to Tenchi Muyo while being chased by Ayeka Jurai, and the Galaxy Police for stealing the power of Jurai, a small, green jewel which holds all the power of Jurai. When she crash-lands with Washu, she assimilates with the power, and becomes a hideous monster.When Tenchi comes with the almighty sword, he easily defeats her, and then stays by her bed every night while waiting for her to get well.
She first appears as a mummy in the shrine, but soon returns to her preferred form of a young, female space-pirate after Tenchi saves her.
Ryoko has witnessed Tenchi's life since he was only a boy, and has a soft spot for him, although this doen't seem to stop her from terrorizing him from time to time.
Ryoko is 5000 years old, (17 in appearance), has gold eyes, stands 5ft. 9in. tall, weighs 140 lbs. and is voiced by Petrea Buchard (Celeste Burch) |
